Art in Nature

This afternoon we had a look at the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Andy Goldsworthy is an artist from Scotland. He makes sculptures and other art out of natural materials.

We went out into the school grounds looking for interesting natural objects to look at and describe. We used magnifying glasses to look closely and carefully at the objects we found describing their patterns, texture and shape.

 

 

The children then used sketching pencils to make some drawings of the objects they found.
