Local Walks

Last week Year One were exploring our local area.  Sunny the meerkat had come to visit and we wanted to show him around Hedge End.  He wanted to write a postcard back to his family telling them about the things he had seen.  We walked all the way to Hedge End and then, later in the week, went to Norman Rodaway.

On our walk to Hedge End Village we saw lots of different buildings including different types of houses.  Our favourite was the thatched cottage.

We then went to Norman Rodaway.  It was very different.  There was much more open space and it was much quieter.  We even saw some horses!

At the end of our walk we enjoyed having a play on the huge field!

Sunny decided he would like to live in Hedge End.
What is your favourite part of Hedge End?
