Stars in the making

I hope you were as impressed with all of year R as we were during their first class assembly.
The children have really enjoyed our topic of caterpillars and spring growth.
Learning the story of  The Very Hungry Caterpillar has given us all enjoyment and chance for developing our story telling not only verbally but with drawings and writing.

Over the next few weeks look out for what's been happening in class and our discovery of the world around us. On that note Mrs Callen has inspired us to be keeping a close eye on the blue tit's in the school nest box, so do log on with your children at home and get them to share the experience with you.

This week we were treated to a special assembly by a visiting circus skills entertainer, we'll see how many of the children were inspired to have a go at some tricks themselves.
